It is a Two for One Monday with the Rotary Club of Florence (@FlorenceRotary) on August 2nd. The club will be joined by Diana Bosse (@dbosse1), Author and Walk Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association (@ALZCin). She will be talking about the inspirational book she wrote while traveling the journey of cancer as well as talk about her work with the Alzheimer’s Association. Diana will be joined by fellow Rotarian, Tom Rotz (@RotarinsENDALZ) who will talk about the importance of getting involved.
July 19, 2021 Rotary Club of Florence NewsletterDiana Bosse has jotted notes in her diary, written hundreds of grocery lists, and published a few articles in company newsletters as well as The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Island Packet, Ladies Home Journal and Women’s Day. It took a diagnosis of cancer to get her off the couch and pen a “real” book. The result is, “The Perks of Having Cancer – An Inspirational, Positive and Humorous View of a Not-So-Inspirational, Positive or Humorous Situation”. Diana currently does meaningful work for an incredible organization – the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati.

We have a delicious option for your luncheon this coming Monday … SubStation II in Ft. Wright! Their food is so good, and it’s very easy to order. Please try to place your order by the Friday afternoon before our meeting, or by 9:30/10:00 Monday morning at the latest.
1.) Please check out the web site www.substationii.com and click on “Order Online”;
2.) Select the Fr. Wright on Dixie Highway location for a “Pickup” (and NOT a delivery);
3.) Order your meal just like you would at the restaurant … select the sandwich size, bread, cheese and/or toppings, plus any additional items you may want (chips and/or a drink);
4.) Mark the order for an 11:30 pick-up on Monday. Under “Order Notes” please add “For Florence Rotary/Pickup by Dave Wolfer”;
5.) Pay via a credit card.
